15-minute check · no cost
A 15-minute check of your school’s or course’s website and registration form.
Send the link to your website, Google Form, WhatsApp registration flow or PPDB/SPMB page. We open it the way a parent would, for 15 minutes, then send you 3 concrete findings. No cost and no obligation.
We do only two checks a week, so each one is done carefully.
What it is
The 15-minute check is a short review of one website or one registration flow: a Google Form, registration over WhatsApp, or a PPDB/SPMB page. It is for schools, course providers, tutoring centres, daycares and parenting classes. We open it from a parent’s side and note what makes them hesitate, wait, or give up halfway.
You get a short written note or a screen recording of about 5 minutes with 3 concrete findings, each with a suggestion you can act on right away. There is no cost and no obligation to continue with us in any way.
We do only two checks a week. If this week is full, we tell you when your turn is, rather than squeezing it in with a careless look.
What we check
- Speed and readability on a budget Android phone
- How fast the page opens on a slow connection, whether the text reads without zooming, and whether buttons and fields are easy to tap with a thumb.
- Registration and payment steps
- Whether parents can follow the order: filling in the form, the documents to prepare, how and by when to pay, and a sign that the registration was received.
- Fees, schedule and contacts
- Whether parents can find the fees, the key dates and a contact that answers, without having to ask in a chat first.
- Basic security and children’s data
- https, links that do not expose other applicants’ data, and a form that asks only for what is needed. Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022, UU PDP) classes children’s data as specific personal data, and processing it requires the consent of a parent or guardian. This is not legal advice.
- Found on Google Maps and Google Search
- Whether your school or course shows up when parents search for its name or for that kind of school in your town, and whether the address, opening hours and number are right.
How it works
Send the link
Through the short brief on the contact page: choose “15-minute check” and paste the link to the website or form.
We open it as a parent
Only what is public. We do not submit the form with real data and do not ask for admin access.
You get 3 findings
A short written note or a screen recording of about 5 minutes, on the same WhatsApp or email.
That is the end of it
If the 3 findings are enough, you can fix them yourself or with your team. There is no obligation to continue.
Check it yourself now
You can use this list today without contacting us. Open your website or registration form on a phone, on mobile data, and go through it item by item.
On a phone
- The page opens within a few seconds on mobile data, not only on the office Wi-Fi.
- The text reads without zooming, and nothing is cut off at the sides.
- Buttons and fields are big enough to tap with a thumb.
- No pop-up covers the content before it can be read.
Registration and payment
- From the home page or the Instagram bio, the registration form is one or two taps away.
- The documents to prepare are listed at the start, not halfway through the form.
- After sending the form, parents know the next step and when they will be contacted.
- How to pay, the official account in the institution’s name, and the deadline are written clearly.
What parents look for
- Registration fees, monthly fees and other costs can be found without asking in a chat.
- Key dates are written down: registration opening and closing, tests or observation, and the first day of class.
- The address, service hours and contact number are listed, and that number actually answers.
Security and children’s data
- The site and the form start with https and show no browser warning.
- The form’s response sheet (a Google Sheet, for example) is not shared with “anyone with the link”.
- The form asks only for the data actually needed at that stage.
- There is a short note on what the child’s data is used for and who can see it, with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Found on Google
- Search for your institution’s name on Google and Google Maps: the profile appears, and the address, opening hours and number are right.
- Search for your kind of school or course plus your town or district, the way parents do, and see whether you appear.
- Registration links on Instagram, WhatsApp and Google still work, and are not last year’s closed form.
Many of the points above can be fixed by your own team, without building a new app.
After the check: the next steps, plainly
- If the findings are small
- Our note is written so anyone can act on it: the school admin, the IT teacher, or your current vendor.
- If the problem is bigger
- There are two paid options: ad-hoc consulting at IDR 750,000 per hour, or a 1–2 week Mapping Session (from IDR 12 million) that produces a written scope, risks and a cost estimate. The Mapping Session fee is credited to the project if you go on to build with us.
- If an off-the-shelf school app is enough
- Many institutions do fine with an existing school app on a subscription. If that makes the most sense for you, we say so, and do not offer to build from scratch.
Common questions
Why is there no cost?
It is how we get to know schools and course providers, and how you see the way we work before deciding anything. That is also why we limit it to two a week.
What do we need to prepare?
Only a link that opens publicly. No password, admin account or student data.
Will you see our applicants’ data?
We open only what anyone can open, and do not submit the form with real data. If applicants’ data turns out to be open to the public, we report it to you alone, as the first finding.
Is this a security audit?
No. We look only at basic hygiene visible from outside, and this is not legal advice on UU PDP. For a deeper look there is the audit & fixes service.
What if this week is full?
We still reply, and tell you in which week your check can be done.
